I couldn't agree more! I fear that many of us in the church today are suffering from an identity crisis. We have no sense of story, which is an essential element of communal identity. We have ripped justification by faith out of its greater context of the New Exodus in Jesus Christ. We must by all means continue to defend and delight in the doctrine of justification by faith in Christ alone. It is the means by which we enter into the story, and it is non-negotiable, but that is only part of a much larger story. “We are silly to settle for less than the full package.”

Kimball, Driscoll, and Pagitt have blogged about it. Thanks for this thoughtful piece here.
